We currently have an exciting career opportunity within Blade Motorcycles for a Professional Parts Manager. Oxford Harley-Davidson is a well-established, successful dealership enjoying the benefits of a ‘start of the art’ dealership located at Blade Motorcycles Abingdon that housing four motorcycle brands under one roof.
 
You will be responsible for ensuring the day to day smooth running of a busy Harley-Davidson Parts & Accessories department, with a clear focus on achieving departmental budgets and future business development, while ensuring outstanding levels of stock management and customer service.
 
We are looking for someone with previous parts management experience that can deliver excellent customer service whilst selling the premium range of genuine Harley-Davidson parts and accessories. You will need to be highly organised while following the dealership process and have the ability to prioritise workload.
 
Working within a small, experienced and dedicated team where a passion for motorcycles will be a distinct advantage! This is a fantastic opportunity to join the motorcycle Industry with one of the UK’s leading Motorcycle Groups, whilst developing your career and future prospects.
 
In return, we offer full manufacturer and systems training with a competitive salary package between £22,000 and £24,000 (subject to experience) and additional ‘on target’ bonuses paid after a successful probation period, full time position OTE £26,000. Other benefits include: 29 days holiday per annum, company pension and a staff purchase scheme applicable to motorcycles, clothing and accessories.

Oxford Harley-Davidson is one of the UK’s premier Harley-Davidson dealerships and we’re looking for an ‘outstanding’ Service Manager to deliver the best results, with the highest levels of customer service and professionalism.
 
This is a customer facing role working in a small dedicated team who aim to ensure complete customer satisfaction at all times.
 
Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Focusing the team on achieving pre-agreed labour sales budgets and targets
  • Answering the telephone and meeting and greeting customers
  • Efficient daily loading of workshop diary to optimise Technician efficiencies
  • Oversee prior picking of all required parts to ensure efficient workflow
  • Processing warranty work efficiently and on time to the satisfaction of our customers and manufacturers
  • Manage customer follow up through a 360 service and MOT reminder system
  • Including follow up calls and appointment booking
  • Continued customer contact to ensure every opportunity for ‘upselling’ of service and repair work
  • Efficient administration of all departmental paperwork, computer diary systems and manufacturer systems.

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record within a service environment from either the motorcycle, automotive or similar industries and have a good basic technical understanding of motorcycles in general.
 
Essential attributes include; great leadership and management skills, excellent communication, the ability to remain organised at all times, working to deadlines and above all, being a genuine team player while delivering excellent customer service.
