Triumph has launched a truly special edition: the Street Triple 765 RX. Built for one year only, this model elevates the acclaimed 765 naked bike to a new level of performance and exclusivity. Designed with a strong track bias, the RX combines race-derived components and a striking design to deliver a premium, high-performance ride for the UK market.
Engine & Performance
Under the fuel tank, the Street Triple 765 RX is powered by Triumph’s Moto2™-derived 765 cc inline-three engine, tuned to deliver 130 PS (95.6 kW) and 80 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm. The quick-shifting 6-speed gearbox is paired with a slip-and-assist clutch, making gear changes smoother and more controlled both on road and track.
Chassis, Suspension & Handling
What truly sets the RX apart is its fully adjustable Öhlins NIX30 front forks, offering compression, rebound, and preload adjustment, with 115 mm of travel. At the rear, it uses an Öhlins STX40 mono-shock for similar adjustability and precision.
The RX also features clip-on handlebars, which lower the rider’s position and emphasise a more aggressive, track-focused ergonomics. The frame consists of a twin-spar aluminium beam with a cast-aluminium swingarm, delivering rigidity, lightweight feel, and nimble handling.
Brakes & Wheels
Braking on the RX is highly capable. Up front, there are dual 310 mm discs with Brembo Stylema 4-piston radial calipers and a Brembo MCS master cylinder, supported by lean-sensitive Optimised Cornering ABS. The rear brake is a single 220 mm disc with a Brembo caliper and ABS. The RX rides on 17″ cast-aluminium 5-spoke wheels, shod with high-grip tyres appropriate for both road excursions and more spirited track use.
Electronics & Rider Aids
Triumph has loaded the 765 RX with a modern electronics suite to enhance safety, performance, and rider confidence:
* Optimised Cornering ABS, adjusting brake behaviour based on lean angle.
* Switchable traction control, allowing the rider to tailor grip intervention to riding style and conditions.
* ABS Track Mode, which provides more tailored braking for circuit use.
* Triumph Shift Assist quickshifter, enabling clutch-less up- and down-shifts for seamless gear changes.
* Full-colour 5-inch TFT display, giving clear, customisable information and a modern interface.
Design & Styling
The RX boasts a bold, racing-inspired design. Its Matt Aluminium Silver finish is complemented by a Diablo Red subframe and matching wheels, creating a striking and distinctive look. Other exclusive touches include a precision-machined top yoke, a laser-etched RX logo on the silencer, and a bespoke RX-branded seat.
The triple exhaust system retains the signature roar of Triumph’s three-cylinder engine, reinforcing the sportiness of the RX with both performance and sound.
Rider Experience
The Street Triple 765 RX is clearly built for those who want a naked bike with serious performance credentials:
* Track-focused riders will appreciate the Öhlins suspension, clip-ons, and advanced electronics, it’s built to be pushed.
* Experienced road riders who want sharper handling and a more aggressive riding posture will find the RX deeply rewarding.
* Performance enthusiasts who appreciate the character and sound of a triple-cylinder engine will be drawn to its engine note and responsiveness.
* Limited-edition collectors, given that the RX is a one-year-only special edition, will value its exclusivity and premium touches.
Practical Considerations & Running Costs
Even though the RX is performance-orientated, it remains practical in a few key areas for UK riders:
* Service interval: 6,000 miles (around 10,000 km) or 12 months, whichever comes first.
* Fuel consumption: around 5.4 litres per 100 km (approx 52.8 mpg), according to Triumph’s 765-series spec sheet.
* Emissions: CO₂ emissions are rated at about 120 g/km (Euro 5), helping with tax and environmental considerations.
These factors help make the RX more usable for regular road riding, even if it’s built for excitement.
Why the Street Triple 765 RX Matters
The RX represents a compelling statement from Triumph. Rather than just adding cosmetic tweaks, they’ve engineered a genuine performance upgrade:
* It brings race-inspired components (like Öhlins forks) into a naked roadster format.
* The limited-edition nature adds exclusivity and collectible appeal.
* It leverages Triumph’s Moto2™ heritage not just for branding, but for real technical substance.
* It strengthens Triumph’s mid-weight naked bike range, offering a “next-level” option between standard road bikes and full-blown track machines.

Blade Motor Cycles Limited an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No. 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allows Blade Motor Cycles Limited to act as a credit broker, not a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders, and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.
We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a carefully selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. We act on behalf of the lender for this introduction and not as your agent. We are not impartial, and we are not an independent financial advisor.
Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next most suitable offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure a suitable finance agreement for you that enables you to achieve your financial objectives. If you purchase a vehicle, in the majority of cases, we will receive a commission from your lender for introducing you to them which is either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you purchase.
Different lenders pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18s or over. Guarantees may be required.
